King Road Construction Information

Due to the work operations of culvert installations and ditching, periodic complete roadway closures are necessary to complete this work safely due to traffic speed and volume still using this roadway.  Access around these closures is maintained that traffic can move around on side streets to get to their homes.  With the roadway closed to through traffic, these types of short closures are anticipated and hard to plan for, as the contractor is moving the operation from culvert to culvert or ditching areas.  This work is planned for another 2-3 weeks.  This short term inconvienence will allow the contractor to complete the work safely, and residents will have a new roadway to utilize soon.
